AMCS Environmental was formed in 2010 with a New York State Asbestos Remediation License. AMCS’s vision is to become the primary environmental company in the State of New York by providing the finest level of prompt and comprehensive services to our customers while striving to exceed their expectations. We provides integrated solution that are efficient, technically sound, and satisfy all legal requirements for complete demolition services and the removal of asbestos, lead, mold, contaminated soils, underground storage tanks, and PCBs.
Asbestos remediation should be performed by a company that is licensed with the State of New York Department of Labor. It is also required that Environmental remediation companies employees are OSHA Certified and obtain a OSHA Certification number that should be offered to all prospective clients.
All workers who perform environmental remediation should have proper training in order to assure that asbestos fibers, mold spores and lead contamination are not scattered throughout the work area during removal.
There are very specialized techniques that must be incorporated in order to assure a safe removal process.
Professional standards like these are, however, different from the codes of conduct governing professional ethics and responsibilities, especially those regarding ethical treatment of participants.
